What We Do:
- Listen to your concerns
- Provide information on university policies and procedures
- Clarify and discuss issues
- Help identify various options for resolving problems
- Gather information and refer you to other resources
- Offer coaching to prepare you for difficult conversations
- Track and analyze perceived issues and trends
- Advocate for fair processes and equitable application
- Recommend improvements to university policies, rules, or procedures
What We Don't Do:
- Make decisions or determinations of fact
- Establish, modify, or override policies
- Provide legal advice
- Offer psychological counseling
- Participate in grievances or other formal processes
- Take action on behalf of individual staff members

University Police DepartmentOftentimes after a tragedy, people come forward with information and observations that, in retrospect, may have signaled a larger issue. This information when viewed collectively may be helpful in preventing tragic events and initiating assistance to an individual.
